Over 20 years, I’ve handled all types of business transactions. Frankly, if it’s a business, I’ve probably sold one (or many); at the very least I’ve sold something similar. I now focus a portion of my time and expertise guiding BottomLine Agents to provide the very best service to our clients.
I’ve helped clients across a wide range: those who have no assets to sell and simply need to exit their lease, multi-unit chains, and complicated stock sales involving multiple shareholders, real property and over 50 employees. With over 500 transactions personally, I can handle any size or type of transaction.
Sean is an owner and Broker at Bottomline Business Brokers based in Tustin, California. He has been married since 1991 with two wonderful children and two furry canine family members. Throughout his 20+ year career, Sean has drawn on his wealth of experience and successfully marketed and sold over 500 businesses and commercial properties, in addition to negotiating hundreds of commercial leases.
Sean is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) and the local board of Realtors. Sean has written multiple industry trade articles covering buying and selling businesses and has imparted his knowledge and passion as a guest speaker at a local college. To this day, Sean continues to successfully sell businesses due to his aggressive marketing, depth of experience, attention to detail, and use of technology to his clients’ advantage. Due to this foundation, BottomLine’s listings are among the most widely-followed among California business brokers.
Sean has been a business leader since his early career. In 1988, he opened his first retail store serving the RV industry in Valencia, CA. A year later, he opened his second location in Anaheim and a third in San Bernardino. One year later, the business was bought by a $200 million company, and Sean was hired to take the concept nationwide. After completing the nationwide expansion, Sean assumed the role of National Manager and Merchandise Manager. He oversaw all marketing, and managed $30 million of inventory across 25 retail locations, including a very large direct mail catalog.
In 1995, one of Sean’s key vendors offered him the position of Operations Manager. During his time at their manufacturing facility, Sean supervised all facets of the operation, including 125 employees and over $10 million in annual sales. Throughout these journeys, Sean continued to own businesses: a fast food restaurant, a computer accessories retailer and even a sports niche gift business. In 1997, Sean launched his career as a business broker, and the rest, as they say, is history.
